Tunisians vote in presidential election, with Kais Saied expected to win

Tunisians are voting in a presidential election, with current leader Kais Saied widely expected to win due to a lack of significant competition. Many serious challengers have been disqualified or jailed, leaving Saied in a strong position. He was elected in 2019, riding on public dissatisfaction with the previous government’s inability to stimulate the economy.
