Escalation with Israel could further strain humanitarian situation in Yemen: Analysis

Raiman al-Hamdani, an analyst with the ARK Group, told Al Jazeera that the Israeli attacks on Yemen show the dangers of further escalation between the Houthis and Israel. “I think Yemen does not have the capacity to deal with another crisis, another strong actor intervening in its domestic affairs,” said al-Hamdani. “I think there’s no going back from what we’ve seen today, because the Houthis are quite determined to continue striking Israel, even though the damage [from their attacks] has been extremely minimal,” he added.
