Israel maintains furious rate of attacks on Gaza amid hopes for ceasefire

Negotiations to end Israel's war on Gaza and release the captives are in their final stages. Talks are being held here in Doha with Qatari mediators, US officials and a senior Israeli delegation. Qatar's foreign ministry says a deal is close. But those ceasefire negotiations have not slowed Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip as more than 80 Palestinians have been killed in the past 24 hours.
