Displaced Palestinians in al-Mawasi face overcrowding as Israel orders Gaza City evacuation

Hundreds of thousands of people are fleeing to southern Gaza, after Israeli forces ordered them leave Gaza City, or face attacks. Palestinian families have lined the main coastal road leaving with whatever belongings they're able to carry. About one million people live in and around Gaza City. Israel has intensified its attacks there, particularly in residential blocks, after announcing it plans to seize the area.
