Harpooning Giant Swordfish on the Surface in California

I'm searching for a 1000lb swordfish and its arch-nemesis, a 1,000-pound mako shark. These sharks can weigh up to 1,500 pounds and have a mouth designed to eat a swordfish. For the next seven days, I will be fishing off the coast of California for Bluefin Tuna, chumming for grander mako sharks, and searching for giant swordfish on the surface. Our adventure begins at Catalina Island on a 43 Freeman with Jay from Prehistoric Pets and Andy from Outcast Sportfishing. On our way offshore, we found a huge school of dolphins, with tuna jumping all around them. From Catalina Island, we travelled to Oxnard, where we connected with Zane and Blake from Hermann Fisheries.
