Hotel workers to strike in Tenerife against overtourism in Spain’s Canary Islands

Holidaymakers heading to Tenerife in the Canary Islands are expected to face major disruption on Thursday and Friday as hotel workers stage their first walkout in almost half a century. They're complaining about overtourism and say the money generated from visitors doesn't trickle down to the island's residents.
