Israeli forces strike displaced Palestinians' tents in Khan Younis

Israeli forces carried out an airstrike on tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Local sources said the attack resulted in casualties, including children, with several people injured or killed. The wounded were transferred to Nasser hospital in the city for treatment. Airstrikes in Jabaliya and across Gaza resulted in more than 130 civilians being killed. The attacks are seen by many as part of efforts by Israel to displace Palestinians from the strip, which some have likened to ethnic cleansing, as aid into the territory is blocked and residents forcibly removed from their homes.
