New Adventure Unlocked 🔓: Check out Via Ferratas 🧗‍♀️

A little like a cross between a ropes course and rock climbing, via ferratas originated in the Italian Alps a century ago—but for travel journalist Stephanie Vermillion, this adventure is unfolding in the most unlikely of places. The first urban via ferrata in the U.S. opened for climbers in 2023, and Vermillion's taking a trip outside her comfort zone by braving this 100-foot (30-meter) via ferrata climb. 🧗
