Protests against 50% US tariffs: Demonstrations held across several Brazilian cities

Those job numbers come a day after Trump unveiled higher tariffs on more than 60 countries, starting next week. Some of the steepest levies are being imposed on Brazil. That's fueling protests in the country. Trump has repeatedly linked the tariffs to the legal troubles of his far-right ally - former President Jair Bolsonaro.
