Russia launches barrage on Kyiv after vowing revenge for Ukrainian attack on bomber fleet

A Russian missile and drone attack on Kyiv killed four people and wounded 20, 16 of whom are in hospital on Friday morning, according to authorities in Kyiv. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia had launched more than 400 drones and more than 40 missiles at Ukraine. A residential block in the Solomianskyi district took severe damage and more than 2,000 households in Kyiv’s eastern bank remained without electricity on Friday morning.
