US and Houthis reach ceasefire deal, Trump says Houthis ‘don’t want to fight anymore’

A ceasefire agreement has been reached between the United States and Yemen’s Houthi rebels, aiming to end attacks on shipping routes in the Red Sea. US President Donald Trump announced the truce, saying the Houthis "don’t want to fight anymore." The group began its attacks in 2023 after the outbreak of Israel’s war on Gaza.
